The challenge aims to put a team on the top of each of Scotland's Munros and mountains over 3,000 feet in England, Wales and Ireland between 12 noon and 2pm on the 12th June 2010.
The first challenge took place in 1995 and the most recent in 2007. Even though the challenge wasn’t quite met, with a number of mountains not being covered, more than £247,000 for WaterAid’s work. The Munro Challenge is back in 2010 and this time they hope to achieve their goal of having a team on each of the Munro Challenge mountains.
The EPS Environmental team is not one to duck a challenge and has decided to take on Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntuohill in the Macgillycuddy Reeks.
